Cappuccino vs macchiato
The cappuccino is the bigger drink, with more espresso and more foam on top. The macchiato stays small and strong. Same coffee, two very different sizes.
A cappuccino is a proper milk drink: a shot, steamed milk and a thick layer of foam, in a regular cup. A macchiato hardly uses any milk. It's one shot with a little foam on top, so it's tiny, dark and strong. One is for sitting down with; the other is a quick pick-me-up.
