Cappuccino vs cortado
Same espresso and the same steamed milk — the cappuccino just wears a thicker cap of foam. It's the foam, not the coffee, that tells these two apart.
These two pour the same shot and the same amount of steamed milk — the whole difference is the foam. A cappuccino piles on a thick, airy cap of dry foam for that light, cloud-topped lift.
